This is LyriCue, the audio lyrics prompter.

LyriCue Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

LyriCue is an audio lyric-prompting app built specifically for performers who cannot read printed lyrics, with accessibility for screen-reader users as a core part of its design.

What LyriCue stores on your device

Your songs, setlists, and preferences (voice selection, line-length settings, pedal key bindings, and similar) are stored locally on your device. This data is not sent to us and we do not have access to it.

What LyriCue sends to Dropbox, if you connect it

Connecting Dropbox is optional. If you connect it, LyriCue can read and write files in a dedicated LyriCue folder within your own Dropbox account, for two purposes: (1) letting you import songs you've stored there, and (2) keeping a backup copy of your setlists in sync. LyriCue cannot see or access any other part of your Dropbox account. Your Dropbox login credentials are handled entirely by Dropbox's own sign-in process. LyriCue never sees your Dropbox password.

What LyriCue sends to the song search feature, if you use it

The song search feature is optional and experimental. If you use it, the song title and artist you type in are sent to our search backend, which looks up the lyrics from the web on your behalf — nothing else is sent, and the result is added only to your own personal library. The backend keeps a short-lived technical log (the title, artist, whether the search succeeded, and whether you kept or canceled the result) for a few days, used only to monitor and improve the feature. The lyrics text itself is never logged or retained.

What LyriCue does not do

LyriCue does not collect analytics, does not track your usage, does not show ads, and does not sell or share your data with any third party. We do not have a server that stores your songs or setlists — everything lives on your device and, optionally, in your own Dropbox.

Children's privacy

LyriCue is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
